Between Friday, Feb. 12, at 7 a.m. and Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 a.m. Lewiston police responded to 680 calls for service. Of those calls, 147 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal mischief

A vehicle parked at 8 Bridge St. had a window shot by a BB gun overnight Feb. 15–16.

A glass door of Bar Friend’s Lodge at 730 Main St. was broken overnight Feb. 17–18; it appeared to have been shot by a BB gun.

A vehicle parked at The Gym at 746 Main St. had its passenger-side window broken during an apparent attempted motor vehicle burglary prior to 7 p.m. on Feb. 16.

A vehicle parked at Crestwood Estates at 350 Randall Road was keyed sometime prior to 3 p.m. on Feb. 18.

A vehicle parked at 284 Pine St. had a window smashed overnight Feb. 14–15.

A vehicle parked at 26 Garnett Ave. was spray painted with a blue zig-zag and had its grill kicked in sometime between 12:30 and 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 14.

A vehicle parked at the Mid Town Club at 43 Walnut St. had two tires slashed between 8 and 9 p.m. on Feb. 16.

On Feb. 17 at 2:50 a.m. Bryan Leclair, 18, was field interviewed at 884 Lisbon St. A search of his backpack revealed several cans of spray paint, a large paint marker and drawings reading “Smart” and “Vandal Art.” A search of the area revealed similar tags on the rear of Color Tyme as well as on a commercial truck in the same area.

Motor vehicle burglaries

A vehicle parked at Pediatric Associates at 33 Mollison Way was burglarized between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 16. A window was broken to gain entry, and a purse was taken.

A vehicle parked at 282 Pine St. was burglarized overnight Feb. 12–13. A window was smashed to gain entry; An iPod touch was taken.

Burglary

CTA Communications at 250 Goddard Road was burglarized sometime prior to noon on Feb. 15; cash and scratch tickets were taken.

Robbery

On Feb. 18 a resident of 247 Webber Ave. had a male subject come to her home to purchase a Nintendo Wii that she had for sale. When she attempted to make change for the suspect, he grabbed her money and the Wii and left in an older model gray Volvo station wagon — ME TEMP 8174MP. The suspect was a black male described as having short hair and crossed eyes. The driver of the car was Hispanic, approximately 6 feet tall with tattoos on the left side of his neck.

Operating under the influence

Justin Trufant, 25, was charged with operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license on Feb. 14 at 3:40 a.m. at Lisbon Street and Scribner Boulevard.

Wanted

Saad Mohamed, 20, is wanted on a warrant charging theft by unauthorized taking.
