Judith A. Pacios

1948 – 2010

AUBURN — Judith A. Pacios, 61, of Auburn died Sunday, Feb. 21, at the Androscoggin Hospice House after a lingering illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Sept. 9, 1948, the daughter of Ronald and Eileen (Goss) Bates. She attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1956.

She worked for many years at Kmart and also for Hannaford’s in Lewiston.

She enjoyed her longtime companion “Sammy,” her beloved cat, loved playing cards, playing the piano, playing games on her computer with Marie, traveling and spending time with her grandson, Charlie.

She is survived by her mother, Eileen Bates of Lewiston; two daughters, Melissa Pacios and companion, Wade Clukey, of Lewiston and Jennifer Martin and husband, Christopher, of Attleboro, Mass.; three grandchildren, Charles “Charlie” Barton of Lewiston, Hailey and Megan Martin, both of Attleboro, Mass.; three sisters, Barbara Witham and husband, Charlie, of Greene, Katherine Roy and husband, Robert, of Florida, and Maine, and Victoria Ballard and husband, Broderick, of Leeds; her brother, Thomas Bates of Lewiston; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father; and her dear friends, Marjorie Perkins and Linda Cote.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff on M4 at CMMC and also the Androscoggin Hospice House.
