WEST MINOT — Owners Wayne and Joni Slattery announce that Slattery’s Farm and Maple Supply Co. is now open. The new business is at 1381 Woodman Hill Road on Route 119, between Hebron Academy and the West Minot Sugarhouse. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The store features items related to maple sugaring, from buckets and taps to tubings and evaporators and the containers to put syrup into. They also sell maple syrup they made at the West Minot Sugarhouse. Other items, such as grain, hay, shavings, wool jackets, work boots, gloves, hardware, wood stoves, flower and vegetable seeds, homemade jams and other items are coming in weekly.

In the summer, they raise and sell produce and will be making homemade pickles, relishes and jams. If there is enough interest, classes might be held to teach making pickles, relishes and jams.
