Charles C. Johnson

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Charles C. “Charlie” Johnson, 80, of Palm Bay, Fla., passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, at Holmes Regional Medical Center.
A retired machinest, Charlie was born in Providence, R.I., and came to Brevard County in 2002 from Auburn. He worked for the Algonquin Gas Co. and Masoneilan as a valve manufacturer in New England.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He attended Sacred Heart Church of Auburn and Our Lady ofGrace in Palm Bay, Fla. He was a friend of Bill “W” for more than 31 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine “Geri” of Simpsonville, S.C.; granddaughters, Megan Munsey of Charleston, S.C., and Colleen Finley of Simpsonville, S.C.; and sister and brother-in-law, Anna May and William C. Tompkins of Harwich, Mass.
He was predeceased by son, Albert C.
