PORTLAND — A “Gardens Gone Wild” flower show will be held March 11-14 at the Portland Company Complex, 58 Fore St.

In addition to garden displays, there will be a children’s discovery garden. Children participating in a scavenger hunt in the garden exhibit area who find the specified items will receive a prize.

At the close of the show on Sunday, the Cumberland County Master Gardeners will hold a plant auction. Visitors will get a chance to bid on plants and other items that decorated garden displays as part of the weekend show. There will also be a silent auction, starting at noon on Sunday, in Building 11 (the first building on the right as you enter the driveway). For more information on the auction, call 780-4205.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 11, 12, 13; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 14.

Advance tickets are $13, $12 for seniors 65 and older; tickets at the door are $15. Children under 12 admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
