Jennifer Eastman and Silas Gordon were the February winners of the “Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader” contest at Paris Pubic Library. They correctly responded to the third-grade literature question regarding Laura Ingalls Wilder being the author of the Little House books. Their prizes included chicken noodle soup, chocolates, tissues, pencils and the book “Five True Horse Stories.” March’s question will be about third-grade math. Entries are due by Saturday, March 27. The contest is open to people of all ages.
