LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen will continue review of a proposed $2.1 million budget during a workshop at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, at the town office.

Public hearing scheduled on proposed school consolidation plan

FAYETTE — The Board of Selectmen have approved an order to hold a special town referendum regarding the proposed school consolidation plan with Winthrop public schools.

A public hearing on this matter will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday March 31, in the Fayette Central School gymnasium.

The special town referendum will be held from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 4.

Budget workshops planned

LIVERMORE — RSU 36 school directors will hold a budget workshop on a proposed $9 million budget at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, at the elementary school.

Another workshop, if needed, will be held at the same time on Thursday, March 25, at the school.
