March 17 at 11:52 a.m. — Stephen Rudge, 35, of Rumford was given a citation by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of illegal possession of marijuana and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia on Cumberland Street. Rudge is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 17 at 1:40 p.m. — Zachery Giberson, 19, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of theft and violation conditions of release on Maine Avenue. Giberson was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

March 17 at 1:40 p.m. — Shawn Stevens, 20, of Mexico was issued a summons by Patrolman Dennis Ryder on a charge of illegal possession of drug paraphernalia on Maine Avenue. Stevens is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 17 at 4:05 p.m. — Derick Harnden, 19, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of receiving stolen property on Washington Street. Harnden was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 17 at 4:05 p.m. — Ryan Harnden, 27, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Dennis Ryder on a charge of operating without a license on Rumford Avenue. Harnden was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 17 at 5:55 p.m. — A 16-year-old girl from Dixfield was arrested by Patrolman Dennis Ryder on a charge of receiving stolen property on River Street. The juvenile was conditionally released to a parent and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 17 at 6:08 p.m. — Jacob Clark, 18, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of receiving stolen property on Hartford Street. Clark posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 18 at 10:24 a.m. — Walter Fish, 24, of Rumford was issued a summons by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of illegal possession of marijuana on Cumberland Street. Fish is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 19 at 10:15 a.m. — Elida Jones, 27, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Dennis Ryder on a charge of operating after suspension (habitual offender) on Penobscot Street. Jones posted $700 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on June 18.

March 19 at 12:40 p.m. — Robert Lemieux, 55, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Dennis Ryder on charges of indecent exposure and violation conditions of release on Hancock Street. Lemieux was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

March 19 at 10:30 p.m. — Zachary Calden, 23, of Mexico was issued a summons by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of illegal possession of marijuana on Route 2. Calden is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

Criminal Mischief

March 14 at 10:18 a.m. — A Lochness Road resident reported someone egged her house. The case is under investigation.

March 15 at 11:01 a.m. — A Rumford resident reported two windows broke on a vacant apartment building. The case is under investigation.

March 15 at 3:51 p.m. — A Maine Avenue resident reported someone keyed her car. The car received minimal damage. The case is under investigation.

March 15 at 8:37 a.m. — Rumford Parks Department reported theft of two gas cans valued at $60. The case is under investigation.

March 15 at 11:01 a.m. — A Rumford resident reported two windows broken on a vacant apartment building. The case is under investigation

March 16 at 12:38 p.m. — A Lochness Road resident reported theft of a credit/debit card. Suspects were arrested.

March 18 at 1:18 p.m. — An Isthmus Road resident reported theft of a bicycle on Hartford Street. No further information is available.

Wanted

Edward Gracey, 23, of Dixfield is wanted on a charge of unpaid fines for operating after suspension. The date of the warrant is Oct. 26, 2009.
