NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Services M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announced recently that Lissa Merrill, MSPT, has accepted the position of director of physical rehabilitation at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Merrill grew up in the Oxford Hills area and graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School before going to Springfield College, where she earned both her bachelor of science and master of science in physical therapy. After working out of state for several years, she moved back to Maine and for the past 10 years has been a staff physical therapist and a relief director of the Stephens Memorial Hospital Physical Therapy Department.

As well as her clinical strengths, she brings a desire to reinforce working relationships with physicians, staff and the Oxford Hills community.

Lissa lives in West Paris with her husband and two sons.
