MEXICO — The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department.

Arrest

Erica Arsenault, 27, Dickvale Road, Peru, warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge, 7:14 p.m., March 20, on Main Street. She was released from the Mexico Police Department on $1,200 cash bail. She will appear in Oxford County Superior Court on felony theft charges on an as-yet undetermined date.

Accident

Vehicles driven by Heather Buotte, 24, Lincoln Avenue, Rumford, and James D. White, 43, Belchertown, Mass., collided at 12:45 p.m., March 17, near the intersection of Route 2 and the Peru-Mexico Bridge. Buotte’s 1997 two-door Chrysler sustained $1,100 damage. White’s 2008 Chevrolet sports utility vehicle sustained $1,400 damage.

Vandalism, criminal trespass

A Roxbury Road property owner reported at 9:22 a.m., March 21, that someone had broken into his locked garage, then had a party. The door sustained $100 damage. Trash was left inside the garage. Police have suspects for the criminal trespass and criminal mischief charges.

Theft

A Holman Avenue resident reported at 9:21 a.m., March 17, the theft of a prescription narcotic valued at $100. Police have leads.
