JAY — A North Jay woman was uninjured Friday night after three deer ran into the path of her car on Route 4, Jay police Sgt. Troy Young said Monday.
When Jay officer Mike Mejia arrived on the scene the three does were dead, he said.
Haley Bubier, 19, was traveling south on the road at about 10 p.m., near the intersection of Maxwell Road, when the deer entered the roadway, he said.
The 2002 Saturn Bubier was driving received an estimated $3,000 in damage to the front end, Young said.
