OXFORD — The Oxford Hills School District budget for 2010-11 is expected to be unveiled at the directors’ meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the central office at 1570 Main St.
Superintendent Mark Eastman said he hopes to have a proposal that is $2.2 million less than this year’s approximate $35 million, and will not raise local taxes. He said directors are looking at short-term strategies such as putting off some maintenance, and long-term strategies such as reducing the number of elementary school principals.
The Board of Directors is set to vote Monday on reducing the number of principals.
