AUBURN — The wedding of Maury-Anne Douvielle Woodward and Adam Grey Jones was held at 12 p.m. on Feb. 21 at the Inn on Peaks Island in Peaks Island. Island native Normand Provost officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Darcy Woodward and stepdaughter of Daniel Gant of Auburn. The bridegroom is the son of Ron and Bj Jones of Lewiston.

Presented in marriage by her mother, the bride was attended by her stepdaughter, Hannah Jones, the flower girl. The bride wore a white satin strapless dress complemented by a Swarovski starfish hair piece. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white Calla lilies and peach Gerbera daisies, accented with white roses and green hydrangeas. A combination of cake and cupcakes, designed with a starfish theme was served.

A reception followed in the Bay View Room located within the inn, where everyone enjoyed music and food, after which the couple enjoyed their honeymoon on the island. They are now residing in Auburn.

The bride attended the University of New England in Westbrook, where she studied dental hygiene. She currently is working at Marco’s Italian Restaurant in Lewiston.

The bridegroom attended Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H., where he studied photography and art education. He looks to further his career in photography soon. In addition, he has taken courses to become a mortgage loan officer and works as a mortgage specialist for New Market Mortgage, located in Auburn.
