LEWISTON — A local man was listed in critical condition Wednesday following a weekend motorcycle accident, police said.

Gerard Dumond, 53, is at Central Maine Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Police said Dumond failed to make a curve and ran into a ditch while riding a motorcycle on Alfred Plourde Parkway at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
