A pair of young foxes battle for dominance in a field off Turner Street in Auburn on Sunday morning. Kits establish a strict hierarchy within the litter; the dominant kit will get all the food it wants. Beginning in September, the litter begins to disperse. Males move 20 to 30 miles away, but often females will stay and share their mother’s territory.
