BATH – Bath Area Family YMCA will host the 2010 Maine ‘Y’ State Girls Gymnastics Meet on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25. More than 260 girls from around Maine will gather during four sessions to compete individually and as team members on uneven bars, vault, floor and beam. Among the gymnasts competing are teams from Oxford Hills, Rumford and Lewiston along with squads from Bath, Waterville, Ellsworth, Old Town and Damariscotta.

This is the first time that the Bath YMCA has hosted the meet in its new facility. Doors open at 7:45 a.m. both days. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children and $20 for families. Two-day passes are also available. Gymnastics apparel and food will be available as well.
