TURNER — The following classes have been announced at SAD 52 Adult and Community Education:
Pet First Aid will be held on Monday, April 26. Pet owners will learn how to protect their pets from further harm, injury or suffering during emergencies by learning prompt, effective actions and care that will safeguard the life of an injured pet.
Wood Carving, session two, will begin on Tuesday, April 27, and is open to new wood carvers and previous attendees. Class will be adjusted for each participant based upon experience.
Writing for the Real World will begin on April 26 and is designed to teach students to write in a well-organized manner. Attendees will learn skills needed to complete everyday writing tasks such as filling out job applications, writing e-mails, cover letters, resumes and essays.
Government/History will start on April 27. Participants will learn the basic foundations of the U.S. government and others around the world. The half-credit course is for students needing high school credit or credit recovery.
