Between 7 a.m. Friday, April 9, and 7 a.m. Friday, April 16, Lewiston police responded to 639 calls for service. Of those calls, 153 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal Mischief
A vehicle parked at 137 College St. had all four tires slashed overnight April 11 – April 12.
A vehicle parked at 85 Dow Avenue had all four tires slashed overnight April 10 – April 11.
A storage shed at 50 Fairmount Avenue had shingles pulled off from it at 12:30 p.m. on April 11.
A vehicle parked at the Colisee at 190 Birch St. was keyed during the daytime on April 6.
Motor Vehicle Burglary
A vehicle parked at 28 Horton St. was burglarized overnight April 10 – April 11. A check and some mail were taken from inside.
Burglaries
A vacant home at 39 Goffe St. was burglarized sometime between April 9 and April 12, entry was gained by breaking a window.
An apartment at 45 Shawmut St. was burglarized between 7:45 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. on April 12. An Xbox 360 was taken from inside, entry was gained through a bedroom window.
An apartment at 78 Maple St. was burglarized sometime between April 1 and April 15. Entry was gained through an unlocked window. A 32-inch flat-screen TV, Samsung DVD player, and a Hamilton Beach toaster were taken from inside.
Thefts
A purse was stolen from outside of 906 Lisbon St. at noon on April 12. The suspect was a light skinned black male wearing a red shirt and hat with long hair.
A debit card and some cash were stolen from a customer of the Acme Social Club at 255 Park St. sometime prior to 5:45 p.m. on April 12.
Operating Under the Influence
Marty Paige, 32, was charged with operating under the influence, driving to endanger, violating conditions of release, operating without a license, trafficking in prison contraband, carrying a
concealed weapon, and refusing to sign a summons at 3:29 a.m.on April 11 at 121 Strawberry Avenue after he crashed his vehicle into a building and a light pole.
Wanted
Jeffrey Adams, 36, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for unlawful trafficking in drugs.
Jeffrey Demers, 21, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for assault.
