Colbath

MINOT — The wedding of Jo Anna E’lan Harwood and Derek Gordon Colbath was held at 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the family home of the bride in Minot. Linette Dehetre, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Colbath is the daughter of Jacqueline May Harwood of Minot and the late Gordon Harwood. She is also the stepdaughter of Timothy Dubuc. Mr. Colbath is the son of Tammy A. Demers of West Gray and Donald G. Colbath and Nina Colbath of Windham.

The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, wore a strapless white gown with beaded flower detail and carried a bouquet of sunflowers with white ribbon.

Serving as honor attendant was Courtney P. Colbath, sister-in-law. Bridesmaids were Crystal D. Asselin, Alyssa M. Lee and Ashley A. Beaulieu, friends.  Kattrina Sangillo, stepsister of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Shane G. York, future brother-in-law. Ushers were Jeremy Chabe, cousin of the bridegroom, and Jacob Burns and Robert Troiano, friends. Joshua Sangillo, stepbrother of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Harwood residence. The couple honeymooned to Cocoa Beach, Fla., in March. They bought a home together in Oxford in October of 2008.

The bride is a graduate of Minot Consolidated School and Poland Regional High School in 2006. She is employed at Bank of America in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Memorial School in New Gloucester and Gray-New Gloucester High School in 2004. He is foreman for Hi-Tech Insulation in New Gloucester.
