A 1997 Chevrolet burns on Gore Road in Otisfield on Saturday afternoon. Stefan Paladino was driving his truck to be worked on when his brakes failed, Oxford County Deputy Danielle Welch said. Paladino told Welch he steered the truck into a ditch. He then heard a “popping” noise and the truck burst into flames. Paladino escaped the truck without injury. The vehicle was destroyed in the fire. The Otisfield Fire Department extinguished the flames.
