AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library will partner with the Workforce Investment Board to offer computer classes for job seekers over the age of 50. The workshop will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, 10, 17 and 24, at the library, 49 Spring St.

The workshop will provide absolute beginners with the basic skills needed to increase job prospects by getting started with computers. The class will cover using a mouse, navigating the screen, creating an e-mail address, formatting a resume and submitting a resume electronically.

Upon completion of the class, participants will receive a certificate for eight hours of basic computer training. The class is free, but space is limited. Advance registration is required. To register, call the library at 333-6640, ext. 4.
