WILTON — Police are looking for a blue and black Jeep Wrangler in connection with a road rage incident on routes 2 and 4 on Monday morning.

A victim reported to police that the Jeep pulled up behind him and tailgated his vehicle with its horn and lights flashing, police Chief Dennis Brown said Tuesday.

The victim pulled his vehicle into the NAPA Auto Parts store parking lot at about 9 a.m.

The man in the Jeep also pulled into the store’s parking lot and jumped out of his vehicle and started kicking and punching the older man’s car and threatened him, Brown said.

The victim called 911 and Wilton officer Tim Coombs responded.

The suspect left the scene prior to police arriving, Brown said.

The victim’s vehicle received $50 to $100 in damage.

Any one with any information is asked to call Wilton police at 645-3876.
