Sally Bartlett, left, and Sue Reny, both of Poland, walk across the Lewiston-Auburn railroad trestle during the Walk to End Domestic Violence on Saturday morning. The walk serves as a major fundraiser for the Abused Women’s Advocacy Project, said Lana Whittemore, fundraising and volunteer coordinator for AWAP. “Our goal is to raise $10,000,” said Jane Morrison, executive director of AWAP. “We are felling pretty good that we will make that goal.” The money is used to provide services to victims of abuse in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford Counties.
