JAY — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Marguerite M. Castonguay Thursday, May 6, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay with the Rev. Joseph McKenna officiating. Her granddaughters Sierra Loon and Katelin Castonguay read the first and second readings. Gifts were presented by her grandson, Ray Loon Jr. and Sarah Kingman. Her granddaughter Sierra Loon read the poem “A Special Lady” written by Marguerite’s daughter, Celine Gilbert. Musical selections by Therese Therrien organist and the resurrection choir were, “Amazing Grace,” “On Eagles Wings,” “Loving and Forgiving,” “I Am the Bread of Life” and “J’iriai La Voir.” Bearers were Lucien, Marcel and George Castonguay, Raymond Loon Jr. and Brad Loon and Marc, Stephen and Philip Gilbert. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Livermore Falls. Arrangements were by Finley Funeral Home, Livermore Falls.
