WILTON — Funeral services for Wilfred Noyes were held on Monday at the Wiles Remembrance Center with the Rev. Ami Sawtelle officiating. “Amazing Grace” was the first hymn followed by the Old Testament reading in Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4,8,12-14. Psalm 23 was the responsive act of praise followed by “How Great Thou Art.” The gospel reading og John 14:1-4, 18-19, and 25-27 was followed with the hymn “Abide With Me.” Words of comfort were offered by Pastor Ami with the commendation offered after those words. “God Be With You Till We Meet Again” was the featured hymn before the closing benediction and blessing. “Go Rest High On The Mountain” by Vince Gill was the closing song. After services, a light luncheon was held at the Wilton United Methodist Church. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton.
