The seventh-grade girls’ advisory group of the Hebron Academy Middle School, led by teacher Leslie Guenther, spent an afternoon helping out at McLaughlin Gardens weeding and raking, clearing a large bed for planting in honor of Earth Day. Guenther said, “The girls did a great job, and we all marveled at what we completed in just one hour.” Pictured at McLaughlin Gardens, from left, are Sabrina Maamouri-Cortez of South Paris, Rachel Jurek of Hebron, McCaela Prentice of Bryant Pond (back) and Alana Chipman of Poland.
