LEWISTON — Absentee ballots for the June 8 primary and referendum election are available at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall.

Registered voters needing an absentee ballot can call the City Clerk’s Office at 513-3124. They can also download an application from the city’s website or they can come to the Clerk’s Office directly.

Voters enrolled in political parties can cast ballots for their party’s nominee to run in November’s general election.

These races will appear on the Lewiston ballots: governor; representative to Congress; state senator, District 16; representative to the Legislature, districts 70, 71, 72, 73 and 74; judge of probate; county treasurer; register of deeds; county sheriff; district attorney; and county commissioner, District 3.

Monday is the deadline for voters to change their party affiliations if they want to vote in the June primaries.
