FARMINGTON — Lida Jean (Lake) Trask, 70, of Wilton, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes early Thursday, May 20, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Wilton, a daughter of Hollis P. and Phyllis (Richardson) Lake. She received her education in Wilton schools, graduating from Wilton Academy in 1957. She continued her education at Forsythe Dental School, a division of Tufts and became a local dental hygienist. She later was employed by Hannaford and for more than 20 years and worked side by side with her husband, Robert “Bob” Trask in the family business, Trask’s Inc. of Wilton.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob” Trask of Wilton; their children, David Trask and his children, Olivia and Nathaniel Trask of Vassalboro and Donna Buttarazzi and her husband, James and their children, Samantha, Colin and Jacob of Arundel; her mother, Phyllis Lake of Wilton; three sisters, June Todt and her husband, Martin, of Hampstead, N.H., Beth Knowles and her husband, James, of Cape Cod, Mass., and Kris Ramos and her husband, George, of Canton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her beloved dad, Hollis P. Lake.
