WELLS, Maine (AP) — A Wells man who was holding a yard sale at his home was killed when two trucks collided and a 30-foot trailer flipped off Route 9 and pinned him.

Police told the Maine Sunday Telegram that Jeff Dickerson died after he was struck and pinned by the trailer Saturday morning.

Claudette Desjardins, a second person who was pinned, was taken to a Portland hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Their ages were not available Saturday night.

Police say a Dodge pickup was making a U-turn when it was struck by an oncoming Toyota Tundra that was hauling a 30-foot travel trailer. The trailer flipped over after the impact.
