While working his way down the Bear River early Tuesday afternoon toward its confluence with the Androscoggin River in Bethel, fly fisherman Kerry Stone fishes for brook trout. With temperatures in the low to mid-90s, Stone said being in the water while fishing felt “wonderful.”
