INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Federal prosecutors in Indianapolis say they’ve busted an international online child pornography ring and that more than 50 people have been arrested.

U.S. Attorney Tim Morrison said Wednesday that the investigation started in 2008 and that authorities kept it quiet to avoid tipping off suspects. The last U.S. suspect charged in the case was due in court Wednesday in Indianapolis.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Steve DeBrota says the government is seeking the extradition from England of the alleged ringleader. DeBrota says Delwyn Savigar was convicted there this year of sexually assaulting three teenage girls and is serving a 14-year prison term.
