The Jesus Party celebrated the 40th annual Earth Day on April 22. Special guest, the Rev. Bertha Jacqmin, and husband, Raymond, brought show and tell objects for the children. Bertha Jacqmin presented a homemade doll that had colors of the earth and a quilt that was made to resemble an aerial view of the earth. Raymond Jacqmin shared the importance of a seed and showed a tomato plant that was potted in the peel of a grapefruit to encourage recycling. Pictured in front, from left, are Jordan Hudson, Bertha Jacqmin, Jenessa Plourde; back, Kailyn Hodgkin, Raymond Jacqmin and Savannah Gertsch.
