Blacksmith’s meeting

Worship service
SOUTH PARIS — “Reflections on Memorial Day in Words and Music” will be the focus of the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, May 30, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St. The music will be directed by Forest Perkins, church organist, the choir and the Sunday School will be lead by Renee Wales. Speakers will be Tristan Kilgore, Rich Hatch and Terry Twitchell.
Members of the congregation will participate in the program. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Child care is provided. All are welcome.
Forgiveness workshop
LEWISTON — The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at Central Maine Medical Center will offer a free workshop titled “Radical Forgiveness” to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, in conference room I, 12 High St.
Deborah Bergeron, CPCC, ACC, and professional life coach, will present the workshop based on Colin Tipping’s “Radical Forgiveness, Making Room for the Miracle.” The focus will be on genuine forgiveness, enabling one to move beyond pain and heal their heart. Radical Forgiveness is designed to remove the blocks that keep one out of joy, happiness and prosperity.

Blood drive
WINTHROP — A community blood drive will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall, Route 133. The drive is open to all donors and all are welcome. To schedule an appointment, call 800-GIVE-LIFE. A form of identification is required.
