Motor vehicle burglaries
A vehicle parked at 36 Fortin Way was burglarized overnight May 27 – May 28.
A vehicle parked at 3 Doyon Ave. was burglarized between 9 p.m. May 27 and 6:30 a.m. May 28. A TomTom GPS was taken.
Several vehicles parked at 236 Central Ave. were burglarized overnight May 23 – May 24. Items were rummaged through, but nothing appeared to have been taken.
A vehicle parked at 17 Novella Ave. was burglarized at 12:18 a.m. on May 24. The owner saw a male suspect with a shaved head inside the car with a flashlight.
A vehicle parked at 56 North Temple St. was burglarized at 3:25 p.m. on May 26; the owner of the vehicle interrupted the crime in progress and described the suspect as a 15-year-old white male, 5-feet, 7-inches, thin, with brown hair and wearing a blue shirt and jean shorts.
Thefts
A 26-inch orange-and-silver Mongoose mountain bike with full suspension was stolen from 174 Main St. sometime between May 21 and May 25.
A green Freestyle stunt bike was stolen from 110.5 Spring St. prior to 7:30 p.m. on May 24.
A mountain bike was stolen from a bike rack at 160 North Bardwell St. sometime between May 24 and May 25.
A laptop was stolen from the Ladd Library at 48 Campus Ave. prior to 6 p.m. on May 24.
A wallet was stolen from someone’s jacket at the Mays Center at 95 Russell St. between 10 and 11:30 p.m. on May 21.
A Roadmaster Extreme Machine bicycle was stolen from John Bertram Hall at 78 Campus Ave. prior to 5:30 p.m. on May 21.
A Spiderman bike was stolen from 1014 Sabattus St. between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on May 26.
A cell phone was stolen from a child’s backpack while at McMahon School at 151 N. Temple St. prior to 5 p.m. on May 24.
An orange Next 24-inch mountain bike was stolen from the bike rack at Farwell School at 86 Farwell St. at 7:40 p.m. on May 21. The suspect was a young black male.
