SOUTH PARIS — The organizers of the Moore Park Art Show have launched a new website, www.MooreParkArt.org, which features information about the entertainment schedule, exhibitor and vendor applications, the 2010 poster artist and a brief account of the show’s four-decade history.

The art show will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 14, and will feature more than 50 artists and artisans. There will also be entertainment, including a concert by Denny Breau, poetry readings by Timothy Richardson and children’s entertainment by the Shoestring Theater and Mary Christine.

The Western Maine Art Group, which organized the first Moore Park Art Show in 1968 concurrently with the Norway Arts Festival, will sponsor the event, supporting the efforts of the South Paris Parks and Recreation Department, which is administering the event for the Town of Paris.

Booths are $60 for a single exhibitor; $35 a piece for a shared booth, up to four exhibitors; and $75 for booths shared by groups of five or more. Applications must be received by Thursday, July 15. Food vendors are also welcome.
