HARRISON — Dolly Levi, matchmaker extraordinaire, will take center stage at Deertrees Theatre in Lake Region Community Theatre’s spring musical “Hello, Dolly!.”

Humor and romance abound when the widowed Dolly parades into Yonkers, New York, with marriage on her mind and a recipe for love in her pocket. As she begins to look for a mate for Horace Vandergelder, a well-known wealthy man, she realizes that it’s time for her to let go of the memory of her late husband — and Horace may be just the one to help her do that.

With this in mind, she concocts a scheme to win his heart, while succeeding to match most every singleton she meets along the way.

A cast of 27 will bring this classic musical to the stage at 8 p.m. June 18-19 and 25-26, and at 2 p.m Sunday, June 20 and 27.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for children under age 12.
