Arrests/Summonses
May 23 at 7 p.m. Timothy Gotto, 50, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Donald Miller on a charge of violation conditions of release on Essex Avenue. Gotto was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6.
May 24 at 3:35 a.m. Allana Schlear, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Donald Miller on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of assault. Schlear was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
May 25 at 2:25 p.m. Timothy Tuttle, 21, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a warrant for failure to appear for violation conditions of release. Tuttle was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
May 27 at 11:09 p.m. Tara Amburg, 24, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Donald Miller on a charge of disorderly conduct on Waldo Street. Amburg posted $200 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 6th.
May 29 at 8:13 a.m. David Giberson, 46, of Rumford was issued a summons by Sgt. James Bernard on charges of violation conditions of release and possession of a scheduled “Y” drug on Hancock Street. Giberson is scheduled to appear in a South Paris court on Aug. 20.
Assault
May 26 at 4:15 p.m. Franklin Street resident reported an assault. Suspect fled the area and a warrant has been requested.
Burglary
May 23 at 6:47 p.m. a Rumford resident reported an open door at a vacant business. Someone pried open the front door and gained entry. Nothing appeared to be missing and the case is under investigation.
Criminal Mischief
May 23 at 10:01 p.m. a Route 108 resident reported $500 damage to her vehicle. The case is under investigation.
Theft
May 26 at 3:51 a.m. a Waldo Street resident reported theft of medication. The case is under investigation.
May 29 at 6:55 a.m. a South Rumford resident reported theft of a $12 inspection sticker. The case is under investigation.
