I read with interest the May 27 article by Daniel Hartill, “County candidate adds Franco flavor to name.” Thank you for allowing Walter Hill to state his point of view.
I’ve known Walter Hill for many years, and it has always been evident that his Franco heritage is among the most important influences in his life, right alongside his faith and his family.
He has been devoted to and active in his community most of his life. To think someone accused him of using his heritage just to get elected is laughable. Anyone who thinks that must not know him very well.
For those of us who do know him, he is the obvious choice for Androscoggin county commissioner. It is a natural next step in a lifetime of volunteering and service to his community.
Walter Hill will have my vote.
