Central Maine Children’s Theatre Project and MSAD52 Adult Ed will present “Seussical, Jr.,” a fantastical show featuring some of Dr. Seuss’ most popular characters. Making up the cast are students in grades 4-9 from Turner, Leeds, Greene and surrounding towns. Taking the stage will be Horton the Elephant (played by Noah Lovejoy), The Cat in the Hat (Keenan Soule), Gertrude McFuzz (Alli Woodard), Lazy Mayzie (Kallah Turner) and Jojo (Eli Christman). These colorful characters will take audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. The musical will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday, June 18, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at Leavitt Area High School in Turner. Tickets, $5, will be available at the door.
