Rumford Group Homes Inc. recently received $750 from the Bangor Savings Bank Foundation to assist the agency in expanding its homeless services programs in the Rumford area. The Rumford Family Center opened its doors in May, and serves residents of Oxford and Franklin counties. The center is a homeless shelter that will be able to accommodate up to 12 individuals or three to four families who are homeless and experiencing a temporary crisis.
