Maryke Eva Moreau of Lewiston is this year’s recipient of a scholarship awarded by Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International.

Moreau graduated from Kents Hill School in 2009 where she received the Lois Masterman Award and the Coach’s Award for both hockey and soccer.

She has attended the Seeds of Peace leadership camp and in the summer, she works for the Lewiston Recreation Department in the Hillview Apartment playground and at the pool in Kennedy Park.

This past year at Norwich University, she was a residential advisor and participated in the Intelligent Leadership Development Program.

Moreau plans to teach physics when she graduates, following her paternal grandparents, Ted and Elaine Moreau, in the field of education.
