The Weld Fire Department honored Sandi Chipman at a recent meeting. Wallace Tyler, Weld fire chief, and Bruce Farnham, assistant chief, presented Chipman with a plaque acknowledging her 30 years of service to the Weld community. Chipman has served on the Fire Department and as a First Responder. Farnham described her lasting commitment and dedication. He said she has dedicated countless hours of her time assisting people in emergency situations, not only answering emergency calls, but following up to make sure the people involved where okay.
