I am pleased to be writing in support of Walter Morrissette Hill for Androscoggin County commissioner.

In the several years I have known him, I have witnessed enthusiasm and dedication well beyond expectation for every position in which he has served. He has been a dedicated state, county and city Democratic Committee member; has put in myriad tireless hours in his capacity as community organizer in an effort to support candidates in their campaigns; and has proven himself to be a consensus-builder time and time again.

Most recently, he was elected to the Lewiston School Committee and, again, has begun to prove his worth by exhibiting intelligence, insight and an impressive ability to step across party lines and effect compromise.

I would not hesitate to recommend Walter Hill for any position he seeks, and I will be proud to support him in the June 8 election for county commissioner.
