9:33 a.m. – Comfirmed that the aforementioned Roy deal is in fact the deal that brings Roy to Lewiston. As of 9:33, there are no deals in place with any other team that have not already been discussed, and on top of that, the deal involving Olivier Dame-Malka has not yet been processed.
9:15 a.m. – Just received confirmation from the draft that the deals involving Billy Lacasse and Jean-Francois Plante, two separate deals, are now official. Also heard confirmation that a deal involving goalie Olivier Roy was complete, though it was unclear whether that was the original trade that brings him to Lewiston, or a second trade that will flip him. Working on that one.
8:50 a.m. – The Maineiacs have not pushed anything through the league office as of yet. Last year, the trades were slow to be posted on the league’s Web site, but I have my ears on the ground up in Drummondville, and hopefully, as they happen, I will be able to relay the information back to you all. Stay tuned!
