AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday for Rita Landry at Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, following prayers at the Fortin Group/Plummer Merrill Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Daniels officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Scripture reading was read by her nephew, Robert Landry. The Prayer of The Faithful was done by her niece, Celeste Philippon. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by her granddaughter, Sierra Melanson and her great-grandson, Austin Wing. The eulogy was given by her nephew, Raymond Paradis. Bearers were Dan, Matt and Bill Melanson, Denis Wing, Chris Stanley and Dave Laroche.
