I cannot comprehend the crude crassness and lack of respect exhibited at the Memorial Day parade in South Paris by a politician and a local “promoter” as they proceeded to push their personal agendas with handouts, hats, t-shirts, pins, etc., onto those of us congregated to honor our veterans and the supreme sacrifices they made for our country.

With so-called leaders such as they, no wonder this country is in deep trouble.
