Western Maine Community Action is getting ready for a celebration. In conjunction with an art show titled “The Art of Community Action,” the agency will celebrate 45 years of service to the communities of Franklin, Oxford and Androscoggin counties. Twenty-three artists from the same counties will exhibit at WMCA’s Administration Office through October. The art show will open at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 24. Students from the Livermore Falls High School Life Skills Class are volunteering their time to refresh the gardens in front of the administration building in preparation for the event. They are, from left, Brad Hyde, Aaron Bryant, Jordan Gill, Sasha Whitney, Kateri Pratt, Stephanie Jordan, Tiffany Greene and TJ Young.
