WINTHROP — Kennebec Land Trust has announced upcoming events for June.

Learn about Loons and Paddle: Saturday, June 12, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Attendees will participate in a short educational program about loons, then canoe or kayak on Torsey Pond with Lisa Kane, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and KLT board member, and Tim Sniffen, Readfield Conservation Commission.

Meet at the Readfield Town Office, Giles Road, Readfield. The program is co-sponsored by the Readfield Conservation Commission.  

Photography Field Trip: Saturday, June 19, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. with Jane Davis and Jym St. Pierre, at Gott Pasture Preserve, Wayne.  A mile-long trail will offer access to a variety of photogenic landscapes. Basic photography principles will be presented. Participants should bring a camera.
