All four candidates for one of two seats on the Mexico Board of Selectmen greeted voters outside the Mexico Town Hall on Tuesday. From left are incumbent Reggie Arsenault, challengers Albert Aniel and Byron Ouellette, and incumbent George Byam.
The voting booths at the Mexico Town Hall were full for most of the day Tuesday. On the ballot, along with the state primary issues, were several local matters, including choosing two selectmen and adopting a municipal budget. Town Clerk Penny Duguay said the turnout was higher for a primary election than any she has seen in several years.
