LEWISTON — Esther Lloyd Kimball, 85, a former resident of Depot Street, Livermore Falls, currently of Summer Street, Auburn, died Wednesday afternoon, June 9, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

She was born April 28, 1925, in Waterville, the daughter of Marie L. Lloyd. She attended school in Wilton. On July 3, 1948 in Wilton she married her husband of 37 years, Howard Kimball. He passed away in January of 1986. She worked in the local shoe shops and retired from Bass Shoe in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. She was a life member of the Frank L. Mitchell V.F.W. Post No. 3335 Auxiliary and the AmVets Post No. 33 Auxiliary. She enjoyed taking pictures, arranging flowers, cooking, dancing and writing poetry.

She is survived by three cousins, Phyllis Bryant and her husband, Robert, of Livermore; Mary Campbell and her husband, Blynn, of Waterville; Sherman Lloyd of Skowhegan; and several nieces and nephews.
